Shevaughn's passion for car detailing began at a young age when he was growing up in Jamacia. Starting at just 8 years old, he went door to door in his neighborhood offering to wash cars for only a few dollars. To him, it wasn't necessarily about the money; it was about his growing passion for attention to detail and taking pride in hard work. 

 

Shavaughn first moved to the United States in 2011, settling in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. At 18 years old, he took the first job he could find at a Wendy's working overnights. About a year later, he got a job as a detailer at a Carwash and Detailing business. It was here that he rediscovered his passion for making worn cars look new again and developed the skills he needed to start his own business.

  

Shevaughn met his wife, Courtney, in 2012 and the pair moved to Maine a year later to be closer to family. Shevaughn excitedly became a US citizen in 2017. They welcomed their first daughter, Zaniyah, in 2014. Their second daughter, Zayanah, was born in 2020 and just 2 years later they welcomed their third daughter, Za'Riyah. 3Z's, get it???

It was after the birth of their third daughter that Shavaughn and Courtney decided it was the right time to start a new adventure; 3Z's Mobile Detailing. In his free time, Shavaughn works as a firefighter. He credits his coworkers (his "second family") for giving him the encouragement and support to take the leap and open his own business.
